@JEFFREYPALLER, I am running a small, experimental humanitarian/vocational project in Lira, Northern Uganda. I was wondering if you had book recommendations to help me with the difficulties I am having with communication. It seems that a cultural difference in how to communicate, what can be said, how to speak, etc., (obviously accentuated by the power differences), is gumming up the works. I’ve read some history, and I have ideas about what is going on. However, I would like to read other people’s experiences, esp. how they “made things work.” Thanks!
